Hawaii Trip - May 2015 - Island of Maui  
     
     

 

A mountain top we saw from the plane about an hour east of San Francisco that we still can't identify ?
   
A garden in the Iao Valley just a few minutes from where Beth lives.

We followed Kaae Rd down to the beach, we are looking at Kahului Bay.

All this beach is along Waiehu Beach Rd.
   
 
   
We turned off the Kahekili Hwy and toward the Waiehu Golf course .

At the end of Halewaiu Rd there was a small park and some great beach views.

   
 
   
 
   
 
   
This view is from the Kahekili Hwy going northerly . We ran into a road blocked during the week for construction, so we turning on to a road that went higher and to the Boy Scout Camp.
   
 

 

This is a great restaurant in Paia, which is a artist town along the Kana Hwy .

There is a water line running to a few big $$$ houses toward the end of this road.

We are smiling, but it is 43 degrees with the wind at 25 mph making the wind chill 30 degrees. We will not be  here long.

We are up on the Kula Hwy looking NW toward the wind turbines and Lahaina.

Below us is Kihei.

   
This is the road to Hana coming around the island from the west to south west side. Not the popular route and the less traveled.

The small island is Kaho'olawe.
